Week long Creative Vacances workshop to enjoy playing with our house band at La Moreau, France
Do you want to raise your guitar playing ability to the next level and experience playing live and jam with the house band? If so our Band Performance Workshop is just for you. Enjoy a week learning the skills to perform efficiently with a full live band – includes drummer and bass, and take this great opportunity to improve as a musician.

Style focus, performance techniques and effective group jamming will all be covered during this fantastic week focused solely on you jamming with
your guitar in the beautiful and relaxing French countryside of La Moreau.
Richard Perkins, on of the UK’s foremost Guitar educators, from the International Guitar Foundation, will help you develop your skills as a live performer so you can leave this magical week with a greater confidence and some classic rock moves!
Structure
The course is structured so that the morning tutorials are relaxed and informal creating a supportive group atmosphere with practical demonstrations throughout. Plenty of time is set aside in the afternoons for you to jam with the house band; practice and consolidate what you have been learning. Richard Perkins is always on hand to help; giving of advice and expert tips.
Level
This course is an intermediate level course and we would expect a participant who is best suited for this workshop to be able to play basic chords and scales with some fluency ( open, barre chords and pentatonic scales) and have developed some degree of ability to play songs from beginning to end.
This course is also open to vocalists, a bassist, drummer and keyboard player. Please contact us if you would like more information.
What to bring
Guitar, amp, lead and notebook. Please feel free to use audio and video recording equipment during the day. Headphones are recommended for your own playback. You will be provided with course material as well as blank tab and chord box sheets. Music and guitar stands are also provided.
We do have a limited number of guitars and amps available for hire.
